As we begin our second century of WWW’s I am guided to look closer into the meaning of this number and my first ‘go to’ is Wikipedia: ‘101 (pronounced "one-oh-one") is a topic for beginners in any area. It has all the basic principles and concepts that are expected in a particular field. In American university course numbering systems, the number 101 is often used for an introductory course at a beginner's level in a department's subject area. . .’ So, as I begin this next journey, wondering if indeed I will reach completion of another hundred of these communications, I open myself to be and do as I feel and am guided. There is no right or wrong here, it just is and I like that very much. Flowing with the energy of all that is. Getting out of my own way and just being, here, now. Not taking umbrage that the thing I ‘thought’ I would write about has again been pushed back another week! A further Google search goes on to advise me that the slang use of 101 means "introductory something". I also like this as this seems to be the direction of the energy within these writings.
Turning to one of my best ‘friends’ when it comes to understanding meanings of numbers http://www.numerology.com uses the 101 in its description of what numerology is ‘Numerology 101 Discover the powerful influence of numbers’.
101 is a mix of the 1 energy but adding it up it also brings us the energy of 2. It has ‘bothered’ me somewhat that the ‘0’ (zero) seems to be overlooked in numerology and yet I have the feeling that it holds a greater value than what so far seems to be the sharing of it. They give a quick description of 1 and 2 as: 1: Independent, goal-oriented, innovative 2: Intuitive, unifying, influential. The website has changed a bit since I last visited, going through its own 101 new beginning!

I have taken the liberty to copy the full meaning of this number today because it feels right to do so and to explain that the feeling I had to share it, was of ‘seeing’ the written messages for tarot/oracle cards with my first ‘knowingness’ when I began reading those full texts and then being guided to highlight appropriate passages; this is what I also do with these descriptions of the numbers. Different days, different highlights. Today I am gifted through this number the meaning of zero – don’t you just love it when things fall into place outside of your own doing :-) shivers of confirmation run through me as I type this.

It is considered to represent the beginning of a spiritual journey and highlights the uncertainties that may entail. It also suggests that you listen to your intuition and higher-self as this is where you will find your answers. Number 0 amplifies and magnifies the energies of the number/s it appears with. Angel Number 101 is a powerful message from your angels and the Universal Energies that now is a time of personal development, spiritual awakening and enlightenment. As you keep your thoughts, focus and intentions on your soul mission and life purpose, your elevated vibrations attract abundance and positive energies into your life. Use positive affirmations and an optimistic attitude to draw towards you all that you need along your path, and trust your inner-wisdom, intuition and the guidance from the angels. Take positive action in the direction of your dreams and desires and trust that you will find personal success and fulfilment. Angel Number 101 tells you to pay attention to your intuition, thoughts and impressions as these are revealing the answers to your prayers and are providing guidance. It encourages you to trust yourself, the angels and the Universal energies and take direction and action as guided. Step out of your comfort zone in the direction of your inner-promptings and know and believe that you will find success and happiness. Angel Number 101 encourages you to keep your beliefs, thoughts and mind-set focused upon your spirituality and Divine life purpose, as you are creating your own reality. Engage yourself in creative and positive endeavours and activities and use your personal skills and talents in a productive manner. Listen to the guidance of your intuition and serve your soul mission with passion and enthusiasm. Number 101 also relates to number 2 (1+0+1=2) and Angel Number 2.’
Wow, a greater meaning to zero after all and what meaning! I ‘see’ the 1’s being balanced on either side of the zero and am shown the scales of justice. This feels like a particularly potent time to bring ourselves into a harmonious balance of being. Not to rail against the things we cannot change but to go within and see the things in ourselves that we can work on to bring about a better and more comfortable way to live our lives in this current climate and onwards.
