Wednesday Weekly Wisdoms 039 – Cause and Effect

Monday’s card of the day asked you to consider the cause and effect of the actions we take. Recently, I joined a Buddhist meditation group following Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, The Joy of Living – Unlocking the Secret and Science of Happiness – his first book in a series of transformation guidance unlocking the principles behind this ancient practice. Feels a bit strange to be doing this as, with me being able to channel, I know how to quiet the ‘monkey mind’, but, I am guided to do this so know there is a reason for doing it. When we can be open to receive then we need to learn to trust – the more we receive the easier that becomes. Cause and effect. When we allow ourselves to pander to negative ways then negative is what we receive. It takes a strong effort to turn this around and start to allow positive thinking to be our focus. The more we are positive, the more positivity we can bring into our world and the world as a whole.

Cause and effect. Have you heard the saying e.g. when a butterfly flaps its wings in one part of the world it can cause a storm in another part of the world? Edward Lorenz, whom this quote has been attributed to, also said: * A very small change in initial conditions had created a significantly different outcome.

So rather than focus on the negative, I want us to think about the positivity of this sentence. Allow yourself to be uplifted by the Butterfly, not pulled down by the storm and with this very small change of approach to your thinking, allow a significant change to take place.

We live our lives spiralling through the cosmos, finding our way along this life’s journey and all the while trying to do the best that we can in which ever area that ‘floats our boat’. Thankfully, the boats that are floated for us are as many and varied as snowflakes, as us, each very individual and unique. From the moment we are born there are only some things that we share with others, even twins will have different experiences though they will share more than most in their own unique twinning. On the whole, we have lost sight of the spiritual beings that we truly are and why we are here; to create, to bring creation into being in this ever changing world.

Think of all the cause and effect things that you have witnessed in your life, try and keep it positive, thinking negatively does not serve you. So, things like the need for communication effected the invention of the telephone etc. In thinking about these external things, now look within and see the cause and effect that your life has made or caused in this life. Again, please keep this as positive as you can but should any negatives ask to be viewed by you here and now, then, ask yourself, can I do anything about this now? If not let it go but resolve not to do it again if that is possible.

Yesterday a beautiful sentence came to my attention and I want to share it with you today: 'And so I open my hands, one finger at a time and let fall, the things which are no longer mine to hold.' https://angelsether.wordpress.com/2019/09/11/letting-go/

Remember that Universal Energy, God, Source whatever your name is for ‘all that is’ is unconditional love. It is true that we are our own judge when we are ready to face this. We maybe cannot change things we would like to from the past but, please, employ some unconditional love to yourself, now, and

that would always try to drag us down into heavy, unloving energy.

Make your cause and effect today to be positive and uplifting for yourself and others in this world; and, as Edward Lorenz said * A very small change in initial conditions had created a significantly different outcome. We can, individually, effect change in this world. Our cause will be the effect.
