Monday: Skipping the Page we go from yesterday's Ten directly to the next Wands card to start this week with our first Knight. Knights are extreme and fast. They bring us positive change opportunities. They quest for what they want to achieve. They are of the air element and are therefore true to their search for justice and quash conflict. They are of action and change, knowledgeable and use their power to achieve their goals. They represent the adventurer of the zodiac signs, Sagittarius. This is a ‘Go for it’ card. Take our ambitions and add some action to it. When they fall of their horse, they get back up and get back on again. The Shadowscapes Companion Book tells us: ‘The Knight of Wands indicates change and progression towards a goal. He is an individual full of daring and passion. His spirit is ablaze with the fire that the wands suit symbolizes . . . Destiny, faith, and the purity of his goal shine with an effervescent glow in his eyes, so that perhaps he does not notice the flowers he may trample along the path in his headlong plunge. Be wary of allowing the wild temper and flaming energy of this knight to cause discord and interruption.’ When we are personally driven towards a goal that has us fired up, we sometimes become blinkered to others around us. Let us take the blinkers of today and follow our goal without causing any hurt or distress to others along the way.
