Wednesday: Back to our grounded Pentacles today and no less than the King himself bringing us his fire energy to add to the mix. Linked to the Sun sign of Taurus which again has been no stranger to us of late. In the run of the suits within the Minor Arcana, Pentacles are the last and the King the last card in that suit; known as the card of Trust. This traveller has reached his zenith. He is accomplished having gained much wisdom and knowledge along his journey. But what now we might wonder, when we get to that place we have dreamed of reaching, what then? The truth is that there is no end, life is eternal and moves us from one journey to the next and the next. It reminds me of walking in the hills, thinking, I will just keep going until I get to the top of that final one, only to find another behind it! This is why the destination is never the goal we need to reach but learn to enjoy the journey or journeys that take us there. Every ending is only the step before the next one of the new beginning.
