Friday: Sometimes in life we are given serious ‘Tower’ moments to deal with, other times it can be more of an inconvenience than life changing.
Often though, when someone has come out the other side of ‘disaster’ they will tell you they would not change anything in their life as it is what made them who they are today. With the recent volcanic eruptions, fires in Australia etc. you may find that they ‘wake us up’ us, the observers of the destruction. There is a feeling here of needing to be aware of where our houses are built in regards to historic record of flood plains etc. How close to the sea do you really want that house? Maybe a sea view from a mile away might be a more sensible investment; what is the erosion history of that coastline? Do you live in fear of disaster or are you able to cross that bridge should it happen? Life is for living, however long that allows us (this time round). To live in fear is not to fully live!
