Sunday: It was only Thursday we had the Queen of Cups showering us with her feminine energy and today we receive passion and drive from this queen. Queens are caring, experienced and mature, as well as nurturing. They mother us with their energy and today maybe we need to open ourselves to the gift of care from others or indeed self-care. She is the counterpart of the major arcana’s Emperor card, bringing us confidence, courage, determination and the drive to take the lead where we are called to do so. This queen channels her power for her own success. She is a warrior queen, bringing fulfilment into her life. She is very in tune with her intuition and takes action through her knowing sense of what to do, and when. She knows what she needs to know when she needs to know it!
This card’s energy is of a developmental stage before achieving success in areas of creativity or work and of making a poignant, possibly difficult, choice in how we need to move forward.
Once again the energy is of standing in our own unique and wonderful self power of who we are individually and trusting that our way is just that; fitted to who we are, to what we need and of where we are going. In the card we can see that the queen is not alone. The secretary bird is directly on hand to bring decisiveness and protective energy. Be open to assistance from others but stay in our own power.
