Tuesday: Today we have the spider spinning its web.
There are some things in life we just have to do which allows us to survive –
have food to eat, water to drink, somewhere to stay etc. (basic human needs).
How often we take those for granted when we have them but like the spiders web they can be a fragile existence if someone decides to ‘walk through the web’.
We could allow ourselves to become quite fearful and negative when we find ourselves in temporary or flimsy life situations –
or we could be grateful for what we have and consider anything else above our basic human needs as a bonus.
I am reminded of last Wednesday’s card and the closing phrase of
‘not putting all your eggs in one basket’.
