We are today being guided by the Ten of Wands and Wands are of the fire element. Tens are of completions, endings, within the zero energy and new beginnings within the one. This card tells us it is time to let go of the burdens that we allow to weigh ourselves down. We may think they are there at someone else’s command but we are the ones with free will. We may not like what we ‘think’ might happen but can it be any worse than the load we already carry? When we release, we make way for the new to enter our lives. Rarely is it worse. That was the old energy of learning. Sacrifice was an energy used against us. It encouraged us to put ourselves last and therefore someone else gained from our discomfort. Would loving Universal energies do that to us? No. That is surely born from the minds of humans. A burdened life, a limited world view, severity are the uncomfortable qualities that this card encourages us to move on from. Linked to the planet of Saturn, the planet of structure and responsibility in the adventurous zodiac sign of Sagittarius. We can learn from this Sun sign as they pay no heed to someone who is overbearing with them. Today is a day when we are being asked to identify where we can lighten our load and remove ourselves from dictatorial people who prioritise their wants over ours and not in a good way! The fact that today’s numerology also adds up to 10 gives us another nudge from yesterdays card to believe there are no such thing as coincidences.
