Sunday: The names Major and Minor give us a clue as to the energy within these words and title of the two sections of a tarot card deck. When we get Major cards, we are being given a stronger message than that of the Minor.
Today we have Temperance. It is not saying you always have to live a temperate life, but it does ask you to balance e.g. the busy days with quiet ones. The phrase ‘burning the candle at both ends’ springs to mind.
Can we learn to accept a nice balance of life, enjoying the ups and the downs, knowing that this is the way of life as guided by our changing seasons; that all things truly do pass/change.
So, let us temper our anxieties, bring ourselves back to the moment, and use the celebrated name of Eckhart Tolle’s book ‘The Power of Now’ to centre ourselves.
If you are ‘letting your hair down’ then enjoy it but, remember to balance with a period of sobriety/moderation.
