As much as we are individuals, we live life as a human race; a world community.
Yet there are, as Biddy Tarot notes: “. . . individuals trying to prove themselves and gain superiority over others . . . ”
rather than respect their fellow man. Respect is a quality that has been abused i.e. where those of a less humble character feel it is their right to expect the respect of others. Respect does not compute with ‘supposed’ rights. Anything imposed to the detriment of another is not respectful.
Let us today be courteous and empathetic to those who know no better.
