Wednesday: Happy New Year. “*May auld acquaintance be forgot and never brought to mind!” Wonderful sentiment from the pen of Scottish Bard Rabbie, Robert Burns and words that still echo throughout many a country on ‘auld years night’/new year’s eve into the wee small hours of the first day of January. Still as relevant today as when it was written . How easy it is to lose ourselves in the past, in the ‘if only’ and ‘what if’s’.
Today the first day of the new calendar year asks us to look within and ask ourselves if we are where we need to be or have we been diverted somewhere along the way from the life journey that we should really be on – our life purpose.
The Ace of Swords steps forward for us today having righted itself from Sunday’s energy. It is the Sword of truth and justice. Yet that justice comes not through war but grace and the ability to embrace change in the shape of the transforming butterflies finding their wings.
