Wednesday Weekly Wisdoms 067 – All you Need is Love

Another Wednesday that has been so busy for me so here I am again on a Thursday (my time). Sometimes I believe I have to wait for information to come to me i.e. something I have not yet seen which I am to talk about or yet to receive. This morning I woke up with this Beatles song in my head: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16zLe7MoZzI Knowing that it is not always about me ;-) I look for a deeper meaning and here we are. “This is first live global television broadcast via satellite, where the Beatles were filmed performing the song All You Need Is Love at EMI Studios in London on 25 June 1967’. Evolution takes time! The words of this in 1967 may have a different meaning for us who heard it then to what we hear now. We hear from many today that the answer to everything is love, which isn’t the ‘Hollywood’ style of romantic love, though it does have value, it is about self-love. "We need to learn to love ourselves first, in all our glory and our imperfections." John Lennon.

Let us now go a little further back and into the pages of the Bible. Corinthians was always with me as a child for these were the passages that I was given to read out at school assembly, often, maybe even in 1967 and the teacher was possibly trying to teach me something! 1 Corinthians 13 biblegateway.com New International Version: 13 If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing. 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. 13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

My journey through this life has led me along the road less travelled which has had its difficulties but there has always been a strength of being that would not let me be anything less. ‘Stubborn’ has often been laid at my door but to that I would always answer, yes I am for I knew I had to be. I have now learned not to listen to other humans who try to push their way to live life onto me, for that is what it is; theirs – not mine. The journey has always been with a knowledge of a greater love that existed but I looked for it in all the wrong places. Who would have thought the answer lay within little old me! Not just in me but within you too and every living being on this planet. As we have free will, some may not find it this time round, maybe they are not meant to. I feel no remorse for anyone that has been with me throughout my life and ‘done me wrong’. For in some of the wrong doing that is where my biggest teachings have come from. I have had the privilege to meet in with A Course of Love translators group and a year ago we were at a gathering in rural France. It was a wonderful experience and full of heartfelt love and sharing. Later this year our gathering has been moved to online, better than nothing but sad we won’t be able to be together at the divine location of https://www.fincademilagros.net/near Alicante.

Meanwhile many groups are meeting online such as https://acourseoflove.org/acol-online-groups/ Yesterday I listened to a new podcast series presented by Lynn Kidd and Laurel Elstrom, Love Is the Answer | Episode 1 | Guest: Sebastian Blaksley find it at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMGmW9bOwnw&t=22s See more on ACOL at WWW 014-016.

For now I will stop there and hope that you have enjoyed the journey of reading through this week’s post. Meanwhile, Moon Omens tell us ‘New Moon in Gemini: An Activation: Let’s imagine that the planets are not doing anything to us, but that they are inviting us to flow with their currents and open up to their celestial celebration. It’s as if someone is knocking on our doors, inviting us to come outside and play. This is a fun loving New Moon that has a lot of positive potential. https://www.moonomens.com/new-moon-in-gemini-fun-positive-loving-moon/ - maybe it is love that is knocking from inside of you.
