Circles of the Mind

Looking at the circles of a collage on the wall of the restaurant where I sit, I am drawn to understand how the circle is a big part of life here on earth.

Imagine what life may have been like had the wheel not been invented!

The Earth where we live is a globe but also, in 2D, depicted as a circle. We look out into the Universe, to other circles, the sun, moon, planets. Currently a beautiful full moon.

The circle has come to represent our birth to death life here on Earth. But, while life here on Earth can be considered to be cyclical, i.e. from birth to death, consider it as something more.

We are born to experience and create expansion through our lives while in this existence, adding to that which is our eternal soul.

Learning and growing, discovering and inventing.

We can choose to allow ourselves to believe in an everlasting life, experiencing the spiral journey.

We are born, we live, we die and we return to soul/spirit.

When and if we are re-born, we do not (as far as I am aware) come back and live the same life over again akin to a ‘groundhog day’, what would be the purpose of doing the same old, same old?

A circle, say of paper, when a split is made in it, elongates into a spiral.

When we break from the cyclical lives we find ourselves living day in – day out, we open ourselves to new opportunities of discovery and creation.

We step onto a new part of a hitherto untrodden path which, with our free will, is ours to do what we want with.

There is no need to measure it, we are where we are, right here, right now.

What are you going to create today?
