Shadowscapes Tarot Cards-Mun Law & Moore

Friday: Today I am being asked to look deeper with this card. On the surface it looks like an avenging Angel with supporters ready to step up to the fray! But, like so many things in life, we have two ways we can look at this. Is it protective or aggressive? It can be both disruptive or visionary energy. Why are swords associated with the energy of air when they could have been born from the metals of mother earth, birthed in the ‘smiths fire and strengthened in water?

In my mind I see the sword being wielded through the air, cutting through the unseen energies that exist in our world. Swords can be about justice and justice is of air energy. They can be used in our need for victory but at what cost? Conflict brings no one any good. So, as much as this card can be about arguments, and disagreements, the energy I feel with it today is about righting wrongs; of being the mediator and not the warrior.

Can we keep our tempers today if we find ourselves challenged? Can we look deeper into why we have been roused, what

in us has taken exception to how another has 'communicated'?
