Monday: Today we start the new week with the fated energy of the penultimate major arcana card.
Judgement is personal, it is never something that should be levelled at another. If we find ourselves doing that then we may look within and consider why we are consciously choosing to judge another rather than ourselves. Can we find that place of peace that allows others to be themselves and find the truth of who we are? The Shadowscapes Companion book says in the meaning of this card: ‘Release and renewal, absolution, the freshness of a new dawn, a new start. . .’ We are still in the energy of the full moon. What do I carry within that no longer serves me? Do I allow a free flow of endings and beginnings?
We are at the end of the third month of the year, stepping into the next quarter, the season of spring here in the northern hemisphere. How does this energy make us feel today without judgement of all that is happening around us but from within ourselves and how we present ourselves out into the world beyond? The card of awakening. The energy of fire and the planet Pluto. Creativity, enthusiasm and passion. Embrace ourselves in the journey we are on and flow with the energy of life around us, or not. This is our choice, this is our free will.
