Sunday: We had the passion and drive of Wands two days ago and now we blow in with the air element to complete the sandwich. Today’s Queen is a counterpart to the major arcana Justice, card 11.
Card of truth and of doing the right thing, for ourselves and everyone else involved. Of finding balance after instability. Maybe our filling, yesterday’s card, unsettled some! This card is of bringing balance to a lack of honesty and injustices; the scales of justice. Of legal situations and unfairness. Card of taking decisive action. Of appeasement, deliberation, fairness and harmony. The queens are of care, experience and maturity. This queen holds the sword of truth. Allow ourselves to rise up in a new light of truth that shines our light out for others to see and recognise for what it is, an honesty of being. A day to be empowered in the wonderful uniqueness of who we are, perfectly imperfect. Linked to the zodiac sign of Libra and therefore to the planet that rules it, Venus. Planet of love and resources, of relationships and values. Libra, agreeable, conscientious, cooperative and harmonious. Can we feel the honest energy of the planet and the sun sign today in all that we engage in and find ourselves possibly drawn into? This card is about us speaking our truth but with that we have to understand that only we ‘walk in our shoes’ no one else is like us. Our truth is not necessarily the truth of another. Card of clarity and bringing into balance things that make sense for us. Today is a day of Justice prevailing but we need to keep in mind – whose justice? Life is complex, never simple; unless we allow simplicity into our lives. Is this world ready for a simpler way of being? It starts with us individually. Let us be the best that we can be that builds an energy of oneness rather than division.
