Sunday: Feels like a while since we saw this wonderful card. I always smile when I see it for it takes me back to the Medicine Cards I used for so many years, when reading for myself and friends.
The Native American Animal cards says of the spider that it was the one who created the first alphabet. Today we are given the energy of meticulous, detailed work, commitment and dedication to a personal project. Of doing one thing at a time, something we are good at, something we enjoy. What we put our energy into changes our inner vibration. A card of seeing results from work we have already done. Of getting back on track. Or in putting our effort and energy into a new vision. A day where small steps can bring us giant leaps. Eight’s are of movement, power, progress, positive change.
This is the card of the Sun in the zodiac sign of Virgo. The sun brings us creative life force, our will to live, while Virgo is hard working, loves knowledge and knows how to do many things. Let us not be that exacting or thorough to the extent of our detriment. Often 80% of our best is more than enough for others. i.e. our 100% would be seen as excessive and not required – some of us just think we have to give that much – do we ever ask?
