Wednesday: A run of cards 7,8,9 and today we go back to 1, the Ace of the suit. But we are not stepping backwards, we are on a spiralling journey that has no beginning and no end. Embrace the power of now and being you, here, now. The Shadowscapes Companion book tells us: ‘It is the possibility of creativity, excitement, adventure, a challenge to step forward with courage and confidence. . . like flint striking tinder, inspiration blooms from that illumination.’ Being within the energy of the new moon, as mentioned yesterday, we are asked to plant the seeds we wish to see grow in the coming weeks. We are open to new beginnings, to potential but we need to take action too. If we don’t plant the seeds, they won’t grow. Today let us allow ourselves to engage with the things that excite us, that fill us with happiness and joy. Maybe we are not there yet but the power of allowing ourselves to feel that energy can assist in bringing it closer to us. There is passion around with this card, it is the Wands fire energy. Will we choose to ignore it or act on it? Free will, our choice.
