Saturday: Today, what first comes to mind is the saying ‘the bigger they are, the harder they fall’.
I was moved to turn to the Shadowscapes Companion book and its writings which included ‘suffering a blow to the ego’. Interestingly, the ego is the very thing we have been guided to work on through mindfulness and finding the answers in our heart; as in ‘what would love do?’
It is time to see through the illusion of life that we have been living i.e. not our own but that of fear which has allowed others to have power over us. The Tower card talks of a necessary disruption in the status quo and if anything is true to being that statement in this year it’s that.
'An upheaval to break through the long-established patterns. . . A time to re-examine belief structures and opinions’. What beliefs are we holding onto today that no longer serve us? The numbers of todays date add up to ten – end of a cycle. Are we ready to release old ways and meet the new day dawning?
