Our card today fits with the energies of the eclipse and the planets at this time. Sometimes we find ourselves in situations of our own making and usually that being of the mind. Our eight of swords depicts the swan ‘stuck’ in the briar patch thinking that it will never again be able to experience the joy of the humming bird that flies freely and joyously. Like many who have fallen victim before it, the swan does not see the way out that is available but instead flaps and flails expending all its energy in futile anxiety and gestures. We need to take time today to breathe and rethink/reassess any predicaments to find another, a different way.
