Saturday: ‘I can see clearly now the rain has gone’ the lyrics play out in my head. Rain = water = emotions. The Kings are of the Fire element, while the Swords are Air. Kings are of authority, leaders and protectors – the kind of energy that needs the passion of fire. While the Swords are of intellect, about conflict, justice and truth. We would do well to take a higher stand today and lift ourselves out of any personal emotions in looking for the deeper meaning in what is currently ‘knocking at our door’.
We are being asked to soar like the eagle and see the bigger picture laid out before us. It is time to take charge, to take control through clarity of knowing and enable ourselves to move forward.
We are advised to be swift and decisive in speaking our truth and knowing our direction. In the card we see the capable King with his foot on the skull of his foe. But does he now consider there may be another way of dealing with those who rally against him; does it always have to end this way? We are continuing with the
energy of this week that asks us to look at things differently.
