Wednesday: Similar to yesterday’s perspective guidance, today we have the card I like to call the Gollum card, as in Lord of the Rings and Gollum’s desire to have the gold ring; ‘my precious’.
There is a wonderful release of all things in physicality that ‘own’ us when we believe in a greater life after this human one. When we can release the grip of ‘things’ that are only that, then we find a new freedom to be and to live an easier existence here on earth.
Fours are of foundation and stability. We can use that energy to ground us into a reality of being rather than one we are led to believe it has to be – usually so someone else can make something from our energy. I am not saying that we should live without nice things in life but we do need to know the true value of things; e.g. there is no pockets in a shroud!
This card is not just about physical things but also about holding onto old hurts or wounds that do not serve us. The card is sometimes known as the Little Devil card. It is a clinging energy, about possessiveness, about placing our focus in the wrong direction. Can we learn to stand in our own power and release need and want for gratitude and acceptance? Let us be thankful for what we have today and if we get more then we are grateful and celebrate our good fortune.
