Wednesday: First of four continuous Swords cards today and the days to come. This one is the card I refer to as ‘caught in the briar patch, but joy is in our reach.’ It is the energy of not being able to see the wood for the trees. In yesterday’s card, as I typed ‘anything is possible’, I ‘heard’ shouts of descent, the ‘but ’s and ‘you don’t know what I am experiencing!’ Sometimes we back ourselves so deep into a corner that we cannot see a way out. It takes us to go within, to take time to visit with all that we are ‘coping’ with and ask ourselves – ‘does it really need to be like this?’ ‘What is it that I can do to ease my difficulties?’ Not what someone else can do. We have to be prepared to receive some personal home truths about ourselves that we might not like to hear. But, if we really want to make a difference then that is a small price to pay. Card of adapting to circumstances. Of learning lessons. About being negative and not seeing the perspective, the truth of a situation. Allowing ourselves to move forward, to do what is right for us. Card of the planet Jupiter in the zodiac sign of Gemini. Jupiter planet of expansion and truth. Of beliefs and confidence. Gemini, air element, sign of communication, practicality and sociability.
